| This activity helps students explore integers and develop a better understanding of representing and comparing integers. They are given a starting temperature and told how much the temperature has changed. Students are to use addition and subtraction to find the ending temperature. They will represent this addition and subtraction using the NumberLine application. |

| In the second problem, students explore the Commutative Property while looking for a treasure chest. They are given 3 possible moves and must find different ways to use those moves to land on number the treasure chest is located at. Students will use the NumberLine application as well as the Home screen to perform the integer calculations. |
