| In the first part of the activity, students will compare related division and multiplication problems for both whole numbers and fractions. From this comparison, students will determine how to change a division problem into a multiplication problem. |

| In the second part of the activity, students will apply what they’ve learned about how to divide fraction. They are looking for patterns that happen when denominators are multiples of each other and when the numerator is 1. Practice problems are at the end of the worksheet. |
