In this activity, students will enter the coordinates of the vertices of a triangle into two lists. Then on the Home screen, they will add or subtract a number from one of the lists. Students will then view the graph of the original triangle and the transformed triangle, determining how the x-values changed and the triangle moved.
In Problem 2, students will translate the y-values and observe the effect on the triangle. In Problem 3, students will multiply the x- and y-values by a scale factor and determine how the triangle changes.
