| In this activity, compare manual lines of best fit to calculator generated regression lines. First students create a scatter plot of Olympic 100M dash data for men and women. Using the Manual-Fit command, students will draw a line of best fit based on sight. They will use this line to predict future times. |

| Then students use the Linear Regression command to compare the line they originally found to the linear regression the calculator finds. Students will hypothesize why the two equations differ. |
