| In this activity, students will compare the amount of light that passes through a beaker of water mixed with different amounts of dirt. The TI light sensor will read how much light passes through the beaker, there by determining how cloudy the water is. | |
| Students will record their data and then graph it as a scatter plot. They will answer the questions on the worksheet to analyze the effects of storm water run-off on water turbidity. This activity includes a TI-Navigator extension that can be used to explore exponential functions. |
