Try the addition game first. Pick the minimum number.  Then put in your player initials.

All games work essentially the same way.  There is a minimum or maximum option. If you play the minimum option, you are attempting to get the smallest sum by strategically placing the numbers you are presented. no alt text supplied
Each game has a help section.  Press the keys below the “softkeys” to navigate through the HELP section. no alt text supplied
You have to decide from the beginning how you will “play” your numbers.  Will it be best to put the biggest or smallest digit in the units place of either number in order to minimize your answer?  After the first two numbers, how are these players doing? The 0 was their first number.  Could you suggest an alternate strategy? no alt text supplied
Here is an example of a division problem where you want to achieve a maximum result. Where would be the best place to put the 4? no alt text supplied
Now that the two players have chosen, who is in a better position? Is it too early to tell? no alt text supplied
At the end of some games, you’re not done! You still have to enter the answer in order to win. The calculator then compares your answer and declares a winner.   In other games, you have to pick the number that would win, to check your ability to compare numbers. no alt text supplied
