The PUZZLETANKS application forces you to think about a task you must solve. It involves using tanks to come up with specific amounts of liquid. In some levels, you fill a truck with an amount of liquid. In other levels, you only use the two tanks to achieve your goal.

To enter the applications press the  key on your calculator. Arrow to PUZTANKS and press .  Press any key and then enter your initials. Press the done softkey ().  You will have several level choices. Start with expert. Arrow there and press .

You will be told how much liquid you need and what tanks you have to use.

In the expert level, you have the two tanks and a truck to attain your goal.  Use the softkey FILL() to fill either tank. You can move liquid to another tank or the truck, empty a tank, or see if a game is impossible (IMP) with other softkeys.

As you move liquid, the game keeps track of your progress and will tell you when you achieve your goal.

The options key (OPTS) allows you to try a game again, a new game or move to a new level through the main menu.

If you move to master level through the main menu, you now play in a game where you only use the two tanks. In these games, you will move from tank to tank and sometimes have to empty tanks to obtain the target number. Part of the goal is to achieve the target in the least amount of turns.

You might initially fill the 5 container and move it to the 3. You would now have 2 in your 5 container and 3 in your 3 container.

From here, you might have to plan several moves. Randomly filling and moving might get to the answer but you are trying to get the answer in the least amount of moves.

The championship level is the most difficult.  It requires careful thought. Champs are recorded and displayed for any puzzle.

Good Luck!
